EGT Gauge Defective?

Hey folks,

I installed my boost gauge and EGT sensor this weekend but my EGT is on the fritz. Seems like when I have the car not on just in ACC the temp gauge will increase in temp. When it is idling it will climb to 2200F. Obviously something isn't right. Anyone see this before it is a ProSport EGT Gauge.

Did you put thread locker or anything on the threads of the sensor when you screwed it in? I know gauges like my Defi ones in my old car had to have a clean ground path through the threads to the exhaust, or else it would give a false reading like that.

Saw that when I first installed my egt probe, i wish I could remember what the cause was, I think it was related to the ground connection, but prosport should be able to give you some guidance on the matter.

Fixed seems like it was a loose wire. Works like a champ!
