not sure if my car is discharging in any way though, but i think it is discharging very little by the stock components that came with the car but the original panasonic batt. was weak so i got myself a brand new Optima Red Top and all i can say it is well worth the investment. with the key position to ign, my dome light was much brighther than before and the cranking was much better than before !

also planning to redo the terminals and cables later on when i have time, the stock ground is not very good imo, will get better grounding cables and ground it at 2 more points and also a better +ve terminal head. hope that will help in my electrical system.

just my 2 cents, sorry if i jacked the thread

I had my battery replace by the dealer under warranty. They gave me a optimal red top for free, but originally they wanted to charge me until i busted out my owners manual telling them that the original battery is still under warranty.
