Thanks for asking . Well , for starters the rods on the 4B11 are beefier then past evos ; the pistons also appear very clearly to be made bigger and cleaner . Speaking for MYSELF - ( our car ) we have been beating the crap out our car since day one !We have hit 40lbs god knows how many times and some of those times its been on pump gas ( by mistake ) . We have about 160 dyno runs , well over 200 hard launches many at 6,500 rpms - with that said it took us 27,000 miles to do any sort of damage to the pistons and it wasn't even that bad - we ran the busted pistons for about 3 months and still manage to run 11.9 many times . I should also add during our runs with bad pistons we also manage to over-rev and bend every exhaust valve - once again we've manage to run 11.9 and 12.0 with bent valves . We have since rebuilt the motor and decided to keep the stock rods , we're doing the valves this coming week if we have time . I know the things we have done to this motor the 4g63 will most likely not take it . I love both boclks but the 4B11 is no joke !
Once again this is my take on it based on what I've seen first hand in our car .
