We are only interested in the Groden Rods as we just received the first ones ever made today. Groden had no idea what a 4b11 even was. You can post a pic of a Groden 4b11t rod stamped with 4b11 on it and we would concede, however until then unfortunately we call BS. There would be no need for us to ship out stock rods to him for mic and measurement if they had already built a 4b11 rod.
As for our proof. Its in the pudding:

True I will let you know once our block is back. This is the portion that sucks when building cars custom is the time frame lol. I am glad you saved me time on the Rods. We should be getting our tripple carbon clutch from tilton soon along with our tranny will update with pics once everything starts coming back in...

block limits
Like the post says just wanted to know what are the hp limits on the stock block has anyone blown them up yet how much boost do they handle before boom cause i see alot of people sleeving and block gards but no one has tested the limits on a non sleeved block who is to say they hold 800 hp who is to say they dont please big shops chime in
Block = 800 hp, crank/rods = 475hp, and stock piston w/rings = ???
The pistons/rings issue is of concern to myself, and likely most people who are going to mod to the point prior to internal engine mods. What I gather from this thread is that the pistons blow their tops randomly? The fact that mitsu is warantying one makes me wonder if stock cars are blowing their tops. Has anyone blown the top off a piston in an un modded car?
Perhaps this should be a new thread.

To me, when you say "bottom end" that includes the pistons and rings (and crank and block and rods) how can you differentiate them?

My bad. I am originally a motorcycle and airplane guy, so bottom end refers to everything below the pistons, and top end is pistons up, including the heads and valve train. Another way to think of it is bottom end being anythign you have to split the crank case for. Obviously there is not a crank case to split on most cars, so the term is different. Old habits die hard. I'll edit my original post to eliminate confusion.

Our car is on the dyno right now...
Made 550awhp before with stock cams and boost falling off.
Now has Kelford 214b's and stronger wg springs/ better boost controller so we'll see what it does.
