I did not buy the T1R doubting its quality, however in person it looks amazing and better than the Hi-power HKS.

1050 shipped for exhaust and testpipe.

IIRC, it was incorrect installment of this exhaust placing the TP upside down. The TR logo should be facing up on the test pipe, not down.

I got it when it first came out for like 900ish shipped for catback and the mini muffler test pipe(for more quietness. The fitment is perfect, quailty great, shipping from Canada was really fast like 4-5 days no joke. Great speedy customer service. The only thing I didn't like was the burnt tips... And they polished them out for me!! Perfectly!! LOL

The sound is good not too loud but a very nice growl under wot. A+ no joke.

This is kinda off topic, but are you running the Cobb stage 2 map with the mods you have, or did you get a custom tune?

At the moment I am actually, but I'm going with bigger injectors, fuel pump and a custom AMS tune on E85 very shortly.

[QUOTE=Freebs;7107384]Well I think I have finally decided on an exhaust but I just want to get a final opinion from thoughts that have the T1R turbo back exhaust. Also the reason I have chosen the T1R is because it is one of the quieter exhaust systems. Perrin was also on my list but their down pipe is only the lower half of the down pipe and I am looking for a true turbo back system.

Looks like a great piece. Very similar in design to the Perrin. Assuming Catback purchase only, which one is quiter. Anyone hear both in person?

I'm somewhat currently looking into an exhaust too. I've driven the EVO with both the full T1R setup, either with the dual or the 90R single.

Here are my impressions:

First off, with the T1R turbo back with the T1R 76S dual, I noticed that it was fairly quiet. For those looking for something quiet, yet provide a great gain, I would probably recommend sticking to the dual. City cruising as well as highway cruising noises are definately not a factor. Personally I was heavily favouring this catback since I personally like a dual setup.

However, when I test drive an EVO with the T1R turboback with the 90R catback, it just blew me away. Although it is noticably louder than the 76S sparrow, it isn't encredibly loud. I think running the 90R is exactly what an EVO needs. The stock exhaust system is way too quiet, and the 76S doesn't do eough justice in regards to sound levels. On top of that the 90R stainless will give the EVO the best gains under the T1R brand.

I also do a lot of highway driving, so this is just my 0.2 cents as well. Hope this helps anyone else looking for an exhaust.

Cheers!
