Oil drain plug gasket - anything more durable?
i hate the damn crushable drain plug gasket - use once, throw away, and if you overtighten it flattens out and cracks. on my old toyota it has a rubber gasket which i can reuse several times before it gets old and i have to use a new one. is there any sort of rubber type replacement i can use for the x?

Go to the dealer and ask them for a bag of the new copper replacement onces. They aren't flat like the original and they crush much easier. My dealer gave me a bag of 100 for free. If you are tightening the drain plug enough to crush the OEM washer, you are probably real close to stripping the threads out of that pan.
