I want to make a positive announcement

Im sure some of you remember about the bad luck I had with my Evo X. From my clutch slipping to my oil leaks. Oil leaks from the rear main seal, to the input shaft on my transmission to.

Anyhow I had everything fixed and picked up my car on May 29th. For the first couple of days I monitered my car carefully. Making sure there wasnt anymore leaks. After 100 miles with the new clutch and flywheel the dealer installed. I started to stretch her out again. So far so good, not slipping whatsoever.
The timing couldnt of been better because I had a track day at Buttonwillow June 6th. This would be the ultimate test making sure that everything was operating the way it was suppose to be.. All I have to say is that the outcome was excellent and the car performed flawlessly without any hiccups..

Buttonwillow was alot fun. We ran the track in the counter clockwise configuration. I enjoyed this track more compared to Laguna Seca.. I want to also thank Martin over at Giro Disc. These 2 piece front and back rotors with the steel braided brake lines, Motul fluid, and stock pads worked killer.

Now, I cant wait to go back to the track...

Very nice WM. seems your problems have ended finally. Now you can take the X out and terrorize the tracks. Enjoy

Awesome news! I remember reading about those other issues a while back. but didn't know what had happened for sure! Great news!

Enjoy the slip-less clutch and the rediculously awesome brakes!

I have my first autox in the X tomorrow, hopefully it will go as well as your track day.

Happy to hear you finally got your beast running well. You didn't wait that long to break in your new clutch did you. I remember when I replaced my clutch on my wrx I waited maybe 500 miles before I tried anything at all..

I think 100 or so miles is good enough. Anything more is just a waste of time and wasting gasoline. Thanks bud
