Larger turbos are aimed for top end power, chances are low end becomes laggier.
Camshafts upgrade gives you alot more usable power, especially in the low to mid range and the overall gains are impressive.

i think im gonna be doing the mx1...they seem to make some good power with the stock turbo and should still be good to make alot of power if i where to upgrade to lets say the Red down the line.
I heard alot about changing cams in the X is very in depth...whats the labor rate people paid to have a set installed?

I'm considering going with either the mild Kelford cam or the Cosworth MX-1 (with a stock turbo). However, has anyone heard if the Evo IX cam problems also affect the Evo Xs?

Also, anyone know if a mild cam will affect your fuel consumption too much?
Cheers.

I put this question to Kelford and Kevin replied by saying that this has never been an issue for the X as the cams for the IX and X are two totally different designs.
