Thats awesome Dave. My car (stock) dyno'd 208whp on my MD, now I'm at 366whp w/ an FP Red on 93 octane. If that's an increase of 76% in whp, what did yours baseline at, compared to where you are now? I'm trying to gauge what I will ET and trap as my car sits now. I think I will re-tune for 28 psi as opposed to my current 25 psi for track pulls. I think right now, I'd be high 11 or 12.0 at about 120 on street tires, pump gas.

I don't understand how it would be possible not to shift to 5th. I'm shifting to 5th around ~110MPH. What kind of redline are you running?

By the way, congrats David! I'm jealous my Red isn't up to par yet. Hopefully cams make a big difference for me.

I'm running 8000 rpm and for my 275/30-19 tires that seems to be right around 115 mph even though the datalogger shows 118 mph. Next time I'll try shifting to 5th at 7000 so that it has time to actually move the car in 5th across the line.

Looks like if I bumped to 8500 rev limiter like Dave and power was there, I would potentially be able to ride 4th to 122 mph trap speeds with the datalogger reading ~125.4 mph on my particular tire combo.

Either way I'm not risking my engine to get those last few tenths and mph printed on my timeslip. After 8000 RPM it's a big question mark as to how each particular engine will hold together and avoid valve float.

Its more than likely the combination of a higher rev limit and larger diameter tires that could make it possible. Gearing too but I'm sure that hasn't been explored at all yet. Maybe they are launching in 2nd gear and thats why they can't get a good 60' time

Wow, I was shifting into 5th everytime on a 113.x trap. Otherwise I would be riding the limiter through the traps with my 7700RPM cutoff. Could help explain part of my slow times.

Maybe 8500 will be a reality with the Kelford stage 2s & springs I have waiting install.
