First oil change
I can't seem to find it using search. My GSR is closing in on the 1500 miles mark, and I would like to change the oil any other fluids that need to be changed. So far I have:
1. Oil, Filter
2. Tranny fluid (BG Sync II maybe?)
3. Blinker fluid?
4. Any things else? Transfer case? Rear diff?

I just did my first oil change 2 days ago. Here is a tip. Make sure your oil filter wrench fits the oil filter. If it doesn't and you try to remove by hand you wont be able to do it. It is on damn tight from factory!
Change the engine oil, as for the other fluid, dont worry about it unless you have been tracking the car.
Good luck.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm having the dealer do the oil change since it's cheaper than just buying mobil 1 myself. I was thinking about changing out the tranny fluid since new trans will have more shavings since it's new. Plus I've got the 3rd gear grind. Many reported buttery shifts on the BG.

of course, that depends on how much they tightened it in the beginning. i happened to get lucky, because most of those idiots put like 35ft/lbs of torque on a freakin hard-to-reach filter that is supposed to be hand-tight.

I would get hot on that blinker fluid ASAP. I put in OEM Nissan blinker fluid in my X and it worked fine.

Changed the oil and switched over to BG Synchroshift II. The 3rd gear grind is better, still a grind once in a while, and it's not as bad when it does it.
Dealer wouldn't put in the blinker fluid, said they'll void the warranty if I change it. I told him the blink was slipping sometimes but they refused to change it. Oh well, I guess I can live with it.
