Great quest and thanks for asking - We sure did !! We had installed forged pistons about 6 months ago , those just came out and replaced with low-mile used stock pistons . Also after running around for about 7 months with bent valves we also just fixed that issue and in doing so gave us the opportunity to remove the forged pistons . I know it sounds crazy but I did it for a good reason.

The stock pistons are a good casting but we were not easy on them and our car has seen 40lbs many times - they can only take so much . As far as the bent valves , believe it !!! The car never ran better than an 11.9 after the valves bent , and actually now thinking about it- it was more like 8 months on the bent valves . We just had the time to take the head off and fix the valves , and now we just need to retune badly . Even running 10.5 A/F the car pulls way stronger then when we ran 11.8 , we're hoping to retune soon and head back to the track .
