Custom UICP

Hey guys, my friend wanted to start making some parts for the X so we decided to start with the UICP. I think the piece came out pretty well, hes also going to make me a CAI sometime next week...just gotta get the flange for the MAF back from the machine shop. Anyways, tell me what ya think!

Looks good although judging by the welds I'd guess that's aluminum piping and depending on the gauge you'll probably want a bracket to keep the pipe from blowing off the car. You wouldn't need the bracket for a stainless steel piece due to strength but aluminum will crush under too much pressure with t-bolts whereas ss won't.

+1 on the price. im thinking of doing this as well because ive seen that i could get the materials for much cheaper than the kits with names on them

waiting on the dang MAF flange from the machine shop, he also has aluminum plates coming in the mail with his company name on them (going to weld it onto his pipes kinda like the ams uicp)

edit: 220 + shipping for the UICP. This gives you 2 vibrant couplers, 4 T-bolt clamps, and of course the nice UICP piece. He can make it 2 piece if you want to take that route
