You can't just walk to AMSOIL.COM and try and get sponsored, you have to go through one of their T-1 certified dealers, sponsorship is a process, and not everyone get a sponsorship.

try and go to any shop in this forum and try and get sponsored, if you get them exposure you might get it.

sorry for your bad experiences with whatever happend, hundreds of happy customers show how the product performs over and over again on these very forums , what a better testing than real world testing on real race cars.

lots of high end shops like AMSperformance, AWDmotorsports, English racing and TTP Engineering,,, all these shops drop AMSOIL fluids in all of their own and customers race builds,,,, thats your real world testing.

see ya

When I applied to Amsoil, they sent me a bunch of stuff for free. A bunch of stuff to make me a dealer. I thought it was really weird to be honest. I've never had anyone do that to me. It makes me curious how many other people they have done that to as well. I wonder how many of them are on these forums pushing Amsoil's product because they make a little money and get better discounts on their oil.

Either way, I'd still like to know more about Amsoil tests to see how they truly perform. I've read good things on these forums as far as transmission fluid, but I don't think any REAL tests and analysis have been performed.

just google AMSOIL and find out for yourself who and what AMSOIL has done for the OIL industry as far as synthetics go. i think you may be in for a shock. read the history of the company. very interesting to say the least.

okay, here, i did it for you...

http://www.synthetic-solutions.com/story.htm

i use it in my evo and my wifes Lexus IS300. she noticed a improvement in fuel mileage right away. all i did was change the engine oil, transmission oil and rear diff oil. i didnt expect that...I BELIEVE!!!!!! oh wait, im not in church...hahaahahhJKJK

AMSOIL is out of their league if they aren't giving out sponsors. I've been racing for 22 years and have no problems getting sponsors from any other oil companies. Silkolene, Bel-ray, Maxima have all sponsored me with free oil. That's how it works. If they don't want to give out sponsors that's their bag. I'm not *****ing about that. I'm saying what they did was tried to make me a dealer instead. That was shady. I don't have time to be a dealer. I need oil for my bike and that's how it works.

Of course not everyone gets sponsored, but with a resume like mine there shouldn't be any reason not to get sponsored. That's how it works.

And you're mistaken, I know the fluids English Racing uses, and they do NOT use AMSOIL. They use Redline lightweight shockproof and Mobil 1. I've had the conversation with Lucas and Aaron many times.

See ya.

We use and recommend Amsoil by choice and never have received anything for free from them. Not even a hand fluid pump.

We use over 100qts of fluid monthly.

ok ok you're special.. they sent you a bunch of stuff to become a dealer. It seems you are more interested in tooting your own horn here than actually debating what you started. AMSoil has shown in multiple tests why they are the best... multiple shops on these forums use them see above for one and swear by them, so they must be doing right. If you want to come back with some testing that shows otherwise then many of us would like to see it... myself included.. until then, just drop it.

"Tooting my horn" has nothing to do with my argument. My argument is the path they go down is much like a "Mary Kay" deal. They try and make everyone a dealer is my whole argument. If they will let anyone on the street become a dealer, that seems shady to me.

I never once in my arguments said AMSOIL was bad oil. I just don't like their business model. That is all my point was. And no, I won't drop that argument. I think it's poor and it shows. They have hardly penetrated the Motocross industry because of it. If they put it in stores like the rest of the industry, they might actually sell more. I know it's a crazy concept to actually market and distribute your products normally. A perfect example is Royal Purple. Royal Purple has done a great job penetrating the market. I see it in all the stores and a lot of people swear by it. Personally I think it's total crap oil. A guy int he Ralliart forums makes it a habit to send all his oils into the lab to be tested. Out of all the oils he's done Royal Purple breaks down the quickest. But they sell a ton of oil even though they are crap.

Hell, if it wasn't for these forums, i wouldn't have even known anyone uses AMSOIL.

What do you guys think?
I completely forgot to touch on this. After looking up the Eneos manual transmission fluid, I noticed it was GL-5. GL-5 transmission oil is bad for Evo / Mitsubishi transmissions. It has sulfur in it than can grind and kill the synchros. You need to use GL-4 transmission fluids. Mobil 1 transmission fluid is famous for being GL-5 and eating up Evo and other Lancer transmissions. Might be great stuff, but not made for our cars.

I plan on putting Amsoil transmission fluid in whenever I get around to getting that new clutch. Man it feels like enternity to save up for all these mods...

.

Its fine man, i dont think with your mind set we would want you to be a dealer, dealer deals is not for everyone and is not being pushed down your throat like you are saying, i think you are blowing this out of proportion just because corp sent you some dam pieces of paper to sign up for dealership and they did not give you what you were looking for FREE PRODUCTS,,, its obviouse why you are mad.

migs647, I agree with you that Amsoil does try and make everyone a dealer. The first time I made a purchase through a nice dealer, I was asked to become a dealer lol Just thought it was kind of funny - it is like a mary kay deal...

With that said, I am running the MTG fluid in my evo x transmission. Honestly, I feel no difference. Some people claim it makes the transmission smoother than the OEM fluid, but it feels the same to me. I'm just hoping it actually can take more stress than the OEM fluid, even though I didn't have a problem running track days with OEM transmission fluid.
