Bolt came out easy. Went in easy. Now hard *** time coming out

As the title saids. I took off the stock dp and put ams dp on. After a few mintues I realized I put the wrong length bolt in. It's the same size and threads. It went in easy and didn't require any force or anything of that nature. But I went to change them out and now the sob won't come out. This was all done on a cold motor that's been sitting for a week

This is just a tip for the future. When working on any car exhaust I always put some Nickle,Copper, or Aluminum anti-seize on all the bolts from this happening.

I suggest you maybe soak it with PB blaster and see if that works at all. Goodluck!

If not you might have to use some elbow grease.

Likely if the other bolts are putting pressure on the flange the bolt could be wracked sideways until you loosen the others a bit. You shouldn't have to remove the other bolts, just loosen them all to take some of the side loading off the trouble bolt. PB Blaster should help quite a bit and use anti sieze when assembling as well. Let us know how it works out!

PB plaster = flammable.

Do not heat it up when PB blaster is on there. It just cooks into the material.

Try using heat first, if it dosent work. Let it cool down, then spray it with PB blaster at let it soak up to an hour.

Maybe take a pic of the bolt you are trying to get out for us.
