We are going round and round here... API Specs are all that matters.. Viscosity cannot void a warranty automatically. Heck, Wrong API Specs cannot automatically void a warranty.
As I have said, sounds like words coming from a Dealership and a Dealer cannot void a warranty. Although they try to scare people by telling them that something will void a warranty.
