I'm expecting good things from the GSC cams. Hopefully someone will give these a shot.

Yes. I've discussed them with Michael some time ago and he mentioned the cams picked up a sizeable amount of power over stock cams. I would just like to see how they would perform on something a little more common, like say an FP Red, Green or a BBX turbo. At those power levels its difficult to determine how they will perform on something a little more mundane in comparison.

I might be the one cause nobody will tell me where they are getting the JUN cams from. Those are the one but it must be some big secret the place the get them from.

I will post up my results when I get them, it will be a couple of week. I have to wait till I get all the parts so I can install everything at once.

I have but I want to know what kind of deals others have gotten. After all isnt that what we are here for to help each other out. with a comment like that you seem like the type that would get a deal and keep it to yourself.

Either way thanks for the advise.

AMS suggested Kelford or GSC with the FP Red.

I did get a deal and I stole it from everyone
I've advertised several times across the forums that I got my cams used from my distributor. 200 miles used. $700. MSRP $1700. steal

The problem I have seen from BC cams in general (not just evo) is that the centerlines are all off. Some cams are off 6 degrees, some 12, some 18, etc. EVO guys don't degree their cams in. They stand 10 feet away from the car and throw them at it until they take a good bounce land in the engine in the proper orientation. So with crappy cam grinds and not degreeing anything they are opening the valves at the wrong time and they lose power. If you adjust for the f'd up cams they will probably make good power. Either way, the quality control in general is teh suck. I'm not sure about 4B11 cams, but that is just what I have seen over the years with those things.

I'm going to run the stock cams until I get the car into the 10s then I will probably try some kelfords. I have used Kelfords on other engines and at least they give you exactly what their sheet says on it. I know they also spend time making sure their cams aren't doing funky slack and tightening bull**** with the chain and tensioner, which is important on these chain driven motors.
