Definitely seems like they would be a nice alternative to Garrett products as some of us are having mixed results with their quality...

Guys, I would wait for the AMS kits. They are doing their homework and taking their time to get a quality product. Just be patient.

+1

I would like an update, but even if it is going to be a year before any kit comes out I'm going to wait.

AMS FTW!

Thats BS ,AMS should have the kit out already, that prototype manifold was started a long time ago. They are spread thin , I will have my AMS chinese knockoff intercooler out before they get the turbo kit done

No.

They're waiting for the production manifolds to come back from casting, with quality up to their standards.

The two manifolds we've tested were rapid prototypes.

Ams are perfectionist which is good for us but any idea when we can have a kit ready for sale ETs is a prooven kit & the only other kit I would touch would be the Afi Kit but I just have not seen much testing on that kit but we need to see That kit lool we been waiting for so long

Thanks for the props! I will stay out of this thread since it's an AMS thread.

Thanks,

Michael

Guys I have seen the kit in person on Blacktrack's car, and I rode in his car. Wait for the AMS kit, you will not be disappointed

And AMS is not holding this up, their casting company is the slowdown.

Sorry for the lack of updates. The big hold up right now is the casting for our manifold. We could produce a tubular version but with its location in the car and the heat being trapped there we just really don't feel comfortable with it. Our Cast tubular manifold will not only be much stronger but incorporate a factory like heat shield to further prevent any excessive heat issues in that area. Like any AMS product we don;t just want to be leaders in horsepower, we want to be leaders in reliable and usable horsepower.

The casting process is a slow one but its worth the wait. I anticipate units for sale in the Feb - March Months as we continue testing and get production manifolds in here for sale. Other kits are out there making power for sure but not a single one is being put through the BRUTAL testing that ours is undergoing on our Time Attack EVO X and Ryan Gates Time Attack car.

Eric
