I have an aquamist hfs1 with 100% meth with an FP red an iveytuned putting 455whp 429wtq 33psi. I love meth despit it being risky and somewhat scary running it. But its a chance you take for cheap big hp gains.

^455whp or 555whp? Is that a 64mm or 80mm housing? Just curious on new data! Thanks!

The only thing risky about running Alky injection is if you are running some very aggressive timing/boost/AirFuel ratio and you run out and don’t notice. This is when engines are blown and a friend of mine did this on his Grand National and it cost him an engine. That’s why you put a low warning light and if you can set it up to have a pressure sensor that when alky pressure drops it switches you over to a safe tune automatically or at least switches your boost to a lower psi. This way you don’t need to set up another tune, it just would drop your boost from say 30psi down to a safe 20psi.

^I'd take a blown engine over a leak + heat/spark. Methanol is very flamable, but similar concept - put in some warning system and failsafes as Freebs mentioned and you'll catch both issues!

Dan, 455hp is about right on a DJ for a Red on the X. I think the highest Red that I have seen on the X was 480-490ish on a fully built motor running Q16 on 37-38psi. They also don't come in an 80mm housing. The Red for the X is not even comparable to that of a IX.

Also don't look for a Black for the Xs... Robert won't be making one because the market is not there and not sure that it ever will be. Most X guys will make much more power going to a T3 or a T/4 setup
