Installed cone filter, I think my car feels slower...?

The car definitely doesn't feel slower any more. I think it was a combination of the sound thing I mentioned earlier plus giving the car a few days to adjust the ECU.
For those who switched back to the stock airbox I suspect you had the same issues that I had. Even if it doesn't add any horsepower the sound improvement is worth the cost of the mod (assuming no power loss which I don't believe there is.)
