i know that i paid 1300 for my one piece CF drive shaft for my STi and it was well worth it. if you haven't tried a car with one you might not think it's a sound investment but it IS. you gain 3-5% across your whole RPM range and this is free HP, because your motor doesn't have to work for it. with racing we put a lot of stress on our engines if i can drop a psi or 2 or some timing it's all ways a good thing.

Can you shed some light on two topics.
1st. How does a lightened DS affect spool time of the turbo? If you go with a lighter flywheel (same concept) too light will lose turbo spool. Apparently a AL DS has a lesser effect than a light flywheel.
2nd. Does the front shaft need to be sent for balancing for the EVO X like it was for the VIII/IX?

Yes we require the front shaft to be modified and balanced as 1 unit..
