Confirmed LICP's for MR?

Hi,

While upgrading my intercooler, I figure I might as well swap the LICP as well. I noticed quite a few are no go's though. Just trying to see what my options are for the MR. So, any you guys know absolutely for sure do and do not work? Thanks.

Confirmed WILL work:
1. Buschur Racing (new model only)
2. Ultimate Racing
3. ETS (new model only)

Confirmed will NOT work:
1. ETS (old version)
2. Buschur Racing (old version)

Confirmed will not work:
1. ETS (per their own product description)
The Buschur Racing lower IC pipe works on the MR. Don't buy a used one though, because the original version didn't work with the MR, but the current one they sell does. I know because it was prototyped on my car after we found the original version did not fit It was a Pain in the butt to transfer over to my Ralliart since the battery in the Ralliart is in the way.

Our lower pipe fits the Evo X now. The site was changed a while back to show this.

It all depends on which intake you are running. Some LICP do not work with the stock or AEM intake box, I believe the AMS LICP does not work with the stock or AEM intake. See link below:

Also, it would probably be safe to bet that the Harmon Motive LICP will do the same since they seem to copy AMS.

yes, that's another issue particular to some like ams. however, the more common reason for incompatibility i believe has to do with the placement of a cooler near the fender well on the mr (correct me if i'm wrong.) that's why some licp's work and some do not, due to not clearing the cooler. (i think )
