AGP Turbo "BLACK EDITION" Evo X FMIC package!!!
AGP Turbo and I have had a long relationship that have included collaboration on vehicles such as the Galant VR-4 and the Dodge SRT-4. With the Evo X, I decided to re-kindle this relationship.
Knowing that their FMIC and piping quality is top-notch and the performance is class-leading, I decided to customize them a little more to my liking.
So, I contacted Ben with a special request...
1) The FMIC piping to be powdercoated wrinkle-black.
2) The Intercooler anodized a gun-black similar to the barrels that AGP produces (http://www.agparms.com). I know there are other anodized FMIC options, but I wanted a lighter color, almost hyperblack.
Anyways, I knew this was a tall order, but boy oh boy, did Ben and the boys at AGP Turbo deliver!!!
I have cleared it with Ben that I can share these pictures. If you would like the same setup, contact AGP Turbo and ask for the "Black Edition" FMIC package.
Onto the pics:
2 boxes that showed up. The stuff was packed very well. The piping was plastic wrapped and then wrapped in paper and lots of padding. The FMIC was well-protected with thick sheets of cardboard. These little details make a difference!
Here are some pictures of the FMIC piping. These were taken with a point and shoot and I will tell you I am not a photographer. You have to see this in person to really appreciate it. The picture below includes a 'L' shaped silicone hose for the BOV return to the intake. AGP relocates the BOV to the hot side FMIC piping and reduces the OEM ugly/long BOV return line.
The picture below is without the silicone BOV return line! Yes, it also came with quality clamps as well. I just forgot to include them in the picture.
Here is a close-up of one of the pipes trying to capture the wrinkle finish!
Here are a couple of pictures of the FMIC. Its freakin sweet. It is really a high quality finish.
