Need Opinions....

I am looking for a TBE. Not specific to one company. I was looking at the Perrin and the ETS. I want somehting that has a mellow rumble (not rice sounding), not obnoxious, with no drone at highway speed. You guys have helped me decide before, i would like to hear your opinions. I prefer a twin exit exhaust. I have listened to all exhaust clips here, but would like in person opinions. Youtube most of the time does not due the exhausts justice due to a lot of variables. If you have a different CBE and catted down pipe please let me know. I appreciate your help.

I have the ETS V2, Im older and grown up out of the rice age and to me it sounds good. You can tell there is an exhaust on the car at idle and when going through the gears, its not obnoxious but at WOT it really sounds good, it sounds like a totally different exhaust. It reminds me of a camaro ss or vette exhaust meaning that its tame at cruising speed but at wide open it really roars. I have a test pipe too. It was a perfect bolt on, took less than a hour to remove stock system and install in my driveway on stands.

I have a cp-e dual cbe and test pipe on my car and I think it is definitely a sound that you would like. It isn't ricey and the noise level isn't high which is really nice. Also the rear section can be swapped out for a single for track days if you like. The quality is great and looks pretty cool IMO.

I have buschur racing cross flow exhaust with the MXP test pipe that is very quite. The price is under $800 for the exhaust and like $150 ish for the TP which I highly recommend both. I didn't want a loud exhaust for a X since it is also my daily driver.

Check out the AMS Dual Exit, Perrin Dual Exit, and GReddy Spectrum Elite. They're all decent and fit your criteria.

you may want to look into this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...y-muffler.html

it looks like it has some great potential and depending on your local shops fab costs could be pretty cheap as well

I found the Perrin for lowest price i can find, which is pretty low compared to alot of vendors. Has anyone had any dealings with Extreme PSI? Just wanting to know how they are if they are a good vendor or not.

MAP should be able to beat Extreme's price.

I've never heard the Perrin, but the ETS is pretty aggresive when running a tp. Its got a nice growl, but it is aggressive.

ETS V2 with a resonator will take out any raspiness and leave all the deep bass notes for you to enjoy. Ask me how I know.....
