Very nice kit indeed -- our customers have been nothing but happy, and these are good in stock most of the time as well for that instant gratification that everyone likes!

Two things I love about this kit, one piece pipes so no couplers, and the "Cobb" piece connecting the UICP and BOV pipe.

Has anyone had an issues with the UICP being 1 piece and connecting to the BOV tube? Just wondering due to engine movement and then being connected to another pipe.

I haven't heard of any issues, plenty of locals here running their kit.

no issues
they're both connected via a coupler at the turbo and fmic so there's plenty of flex
bov pipe connected to licp and inlet which is flexible also

Cool Thanks. Like the price and look of the Cobb setup just didn't know if engine flex was an issue with boost leaking.

No tune is necessary with intercooler pipes.

Fitment Issues

I installed the UICP per Cobb's instructions but now I am having leak issues. Is this just me?

Figured id chime in..

I quite enjoy the hard pipe kit! everything works great and the boost came on 200rpm sooner. not that i have a way to prove it but that's what i noticed.

when i first installed the kit i got a leak from the turbo outlet side (uicp) the Tbolt that came with the kit was too large and had to buy a new smaller bolt.
everything else worked great.

here's a look of the finished product.. note i'm using stock air box still.

Can you not use the factory snorkel on the cobb intake?

Snorkel?

are you talking about the factory air box? and yes you can. you just have to use a dremel to sand down some plastic on the air box.

or are you talking about the cobb inlet hose? it's a factory fitting hose.. you can use the SF filter kit or the factory air box with the hose.
