cone filter w/ stock setup?

ok first off my computer has a virus on it so i cant use it and so i only have is my iphone and sum reason i cant get the search function to work so plz no search, look etc posts!

ok im thinking bout getting a kn cone filter to replace my factory drop in filter and prob will get rid of the box also!

do i need anything other than the filter to make this work and with it installed wat type of map should i run with my cobb ap??

drop in filter = K&N Filter IMO. there won't be any large noticeable gains by going to a cone filter. You may in fact actually get some heatsoak unless you decide to pop a heat shield on. There have been people that have achieved 400+ with just a drop in.

As far as getting the filter on, you just need to clip the plastic tab on the MAF for the filter to fit. Make sure to reuse the rubber reducer from the stock box.

I'm unsure about the Cobb map though.

And my iphone does the same thing.

Use the Cobb SF map!!! it is basically the same as throwing on a filter!!! and you dont have to cut the Maf tab. I have had a K&N filter on there with the tab intact no problem!
