Various EVO 9 problems had me second guessing the car so I jumped into the Evo X. So far this car is proving to be just as bad if not worse, now I'm having SST problems or something.

I love this car but shes disappointing me and I might have to leave her.

I already baby her, maybe I need to beat her more.

What kind of problems did you have with your Evo IX? I have one and love it! Only problems I ever get are due to negligence (which hardly ever happens) or a modding issue (which your own fault). Never owned a X... but as far as I hear there have only been issues with a fuel relay or something? What things are you talking about?

 

the x is a masochist. you need to beat it to the ground for it to be happy.

 

From what I get out of owing the ever popular evo so far is theres always gonna be something to fix or something to tweak, I think thats why I enjoy it so much, even when its running strong theres always something else that needs to be done.

 

Fluid Leak, slight slipping and wine, dealer will let me know tomorrow.

Miss my baby already.

 

Sorry to hear about your problems. Hopefully, the dealer will resolve it. But make sure you build a good relationship with the service rep just in case...they could make life much easier for you.

 

What's the update on this? What did the dealer say?

 

IMO i DO not like the X, it looks like a boat, weights close to a full size bus....and the SST is a POS. Sorry you have an X....get out while you can...

hey buddy let me know what the dealler says,
i had the same problem you did and i blew the sst the next day bc mydealer told me the car was ok ,
13800 later , 22 weeks , still my car is not running , :S

i want to do a few things to my car , drive it off a cliff, light it on fire , or c4ing the **** out of it .....
lost over 4 months of my life ,



but i miss it and i love it ....

 

^^ haha dude I know how u guys feel. But that's what happens with cars and the reason y I don't put to much money into them
