Question Power gains with stock cat

What max power gains can be achieved with a stock cat? Seems like HFC is a no go here in Cali...

You can still gain some decent power with the stock cat in place

Replace the catback, UICP, drop in filter, tune....then you can rejoice

Of course, if you want ***** out power (big turbo, injectors) and run the stock cat....I bet it will severely hinder the flow....I don't think I've seen it done either...most who run bigger turbos will always add turbo-back exhausts to go along with their big turbo upgrades

You can get near 350 w/intake, UICP, catback, and a good tune

I think what he's saying is it won't pass emissions , using a high flow cat . Which i'm pretty sure is true since some people with HFC's on VIII's have failed smog here .

My understanding, can't have anything other than OEM cat. Also, for smog check need to pass not only emissions but also visual.
