Shep Diff Pins
So for christmas a friend of mine bought me the upgraded diff pins from Sheptrans. After comparing them to the ones Buschur sells, I thought maybe my friend ordered me OEM ones through shep (Buschurs are silver in color and include dowels. Sheps are goldish in color and do not include dowels). I called sheptrans and verifed that my buddy did indeed purchase the correct upgraded pins.
After speaking with Travis(?) about the dowels not being included, he said to just reuse my stock ones (since my pins have not yet broken).
Im still skeptical on these upgraded pins and a little nervous about reusing the stock dowels.
Anyone have any suggestions/comments?

So i did a little more research on these pins (making phone calls and what not) and it seems as though Shep uses the "new" factory Mitsubishi center diff pins (hence why they are gold in color). I guess Mitsu tried to fix their own problem with these pins which is why they are different in color compared to our oem 2008 GSR's.
Now, Buschur uses a very hard material, and then sends their center diff pins out to get chromed allowing for a more slippery surface so they are more resistant in binding to the spider gears. For this reason, I will probably return the shep pins and order the Buschur pins.

John Shep would not release a product that he wouldn't stand by or be confident in, my tranny is actually with him at the moment and I am getting a full rebuild and these diff pins installed along with the 4.28 final drive. This guy has worked wonders in the transmission game and thats all he works with
