Test Pipe Yes or No?
I am currently in the market for a aftermarket test pipe for my EVO X. Are they worth the money for the performance gains? My car made 323whp/322 tq on Buschur Mustang Dyno (Heart Break Dyno) and from what I was told dont even give you much of a gain in power. I also have the Buschur Cross Flow Quiet Catback and its definatly what they say it is when they say Quiet. Sounds really good but I want it a little louder. So who has noticed a performance or sound difference when adding a test pipe? I am looking at the MAP Test pipe. Also are you guys getting check engine lights?

Sound and performance gains are all there. However, if I had it to do over again I would have gotten a high flow cat. I have no desire to make car washing and detailing my career so the soot that builds up all over the trunk, lid, and wing grates on my nerves. If you wash your car regularly it isn't a problem, I just happen to have the color that looks completely clean from afar, even when filthy.

Dude, with the Buschur SS crossflow CBE, I still have intense carbon/soot build-up on the rear of my car. My exhaust sounds pretty good but I am also doing an upgrade to a downpipe w/ test pipe. I'm loud and obnoxious though, lol.

I'm debating on high flow cat, resonated test pipe or test pipe once I get my AMS widemouth in 2 weeks..do they have similar gain? I want to keep the current noise level but more power lol.. Any suggestions?
