EVO X Turbine ousing failure...who do you blame?

Reminds me of the common crack that develops on the VJ39 STi turbo between the turbine and the wastegate. The STi has variable valve timing and the and the WRX did not....so probably same logic with elevated EGTs from retarded timing.

good break down for some of those folks who are un-sure about inspecting a housing. good point on the safe tune, 5th combustion chamber. i'll have to keep that in the back of my head.
