I believe one member on this forum has it but I forgot his username. I would be interested in this upgrade for my X as well.

I thought a lot of members would have this mod since it save weight and adds more power to the wheels

Says it tightens up and helps protect the drivetrain also. I'm waiting to hear some reviews first.

15 LBS off that close to the engine is a pretty big deal isn't it? Seems like this would be almost a no-brainer at half the price.

15 lbs off of 41 lbs, IIRC. A 25% weight savings is nothing to sneeze at, but I'd be concerned about the durability of aluminum on an item like a drive shaft.

Lol....I know right!! Gotta love deployments. I don't even know when I'm coming back...flights outta here are being jacked up right now as we speak...planes breaking down and delays. But I'm trying to decide on DBA or Giro Disc myself......Giro Disc may be cheaper and still a quality product....who knows? I'm going to change the fronts first

something like a rock from DD denting it would through it off balance. I'm guessing a better route is a carbon fibre drive shaft .. light and strong
