Blew my motor

i was driving down the highway decided to pass someone and lost all power. I look in my rearview mirror i saw white smoke everywhere i pulled over to the side of the highway and shut her off popped the hood there was no sign of anything leaking or a rod throw the side of the block. I started it back up and it blew white smoke and sounded like a boxer motor. I instantly called mitsu roadside and had the car towed to the dealership.
The car has intake, intercooler, full exhaust, was tuned i unmarried the AP before getting it towed
Do u think mitsu will warranty my motor?
If not what is the average cost to rebuild the motor?
thanks in advance

They'll probably void it unfortunately. If it is the engine that's screwed, price depends on how badly things are damage. I'd venture this is a $6-12K depending on if the block is okay.

Hmm no signs of a rod or anything leaking, just white smoke and no power? Any more details on why the motor blew? Low oil, too lean, bad tune?

Sorry to hear this. Not sure if the dealer what the dealer will say. My dealer knows that when you do basic bolt ons, you will need a tune. What is worse, they even know who my tuner is. This is going to be a sizeable amount of coin to fix this. Not sure how much cash you have on hand, but now will be the time to rebuild the motor for more boost. Again, I feel for you man.

This is what i say, if the dealer does not warranty your motor and needs replacing, call AMS and get a Crate motor - go big!

Dealer will not warranty it unfortunately, pull the plugs out of the motor and look at them, then do a compression test to get a good start

^ Wait, you have an '04 Evo XIII, an '08 Evo X and an '09 GT-R? Sounds to me like you should go straight to AMS and go big!

30psi? Who did your tune? don't you think that's a little excessive?

All the IC pipes on? A disconnected IC pipe would give you no movement and running rich.

i was planning on doing a Alpha 10 package on the GTR next year the evo is dd thats why i dont wanna make it into race car
Its AMS tuned but only at 25 psi i started have the overboost problem after having a buddy installed my downpipe
Everything under the hood look normal and it was white smoke so it def something with the motor
