Which Turbo?
Okay I said I wasn't gonna touch the Turbocharger but I keep seeing all these Evo's here with bigger Turbos making some huge HP.
I currently have a full TBE, CAI, and a Boost Controller. I am getting the ETS full inter-cooler kit next. But now I want to upgrade my Turbocharger but have no clue which one to get.
I don't get the difference between FP Green, FP Red, FP Black etc. I want something that will make some serious power but on 93 Octane. What would I need besides a bigger Turbo?
I need specs of the items you post please If you say an upgraded fuel pump please list which size. I'm a new guy to modding so please don't flame me. We all started somewhere
Note: My car is currently pushing 356hp with a tune. 500hp would be an ideal goal for me but dunno if that is possible on 93 Octane :/

You ask the difference in turbos. 450,550,600 thats about it. You will also need more fuel (1450's or around there), possibly new fuel pump if it isn't installed yet, of course good tune, ported intake and exhaust mani to help with the flow, bigger tb but not totally necessary but every little bit helps. There is prob more, but I just woke up so I can't think straight yet.

BBX Lite is an awesome turbo for the stock engine... if you dont have any definate plans of building your engine. Won't deliver 500whp though on most dynos, but if the dyno you are using says you have 356... you should still have substantial gains.

Please keep in mind it also has to do with proper mods and what nots. This turbo hp rateing is 600 to 650 with proper setups

The EF4 is a monster and you really need a built engine to fully take advantage of it, additionally cursedsm was talking E85 numbers not pump gas. On E85 I made 407whp with the stock turbo and 465whp with our EF2 with no noticeable difference in lag. On pump gas the EF3 should get you well into the 400's and the EF4 is 500whp capable assuming you have the right supporting mods and tune I'd be happy to help with any further questions you have!

I can speak on both turbos. I have a 3076r with a mitsu housing .63 ar on my talon and it hit hard. I made close to 500 whp on it very very nice turbo. As Chris said above the EF4 definately is a monster. The thing hits even harder and I make about 150 more whp then I did with the 3076r. Best part of the EF4 is that its stock frame and not big and bulky in the engine bay. You will make a lot more power with the ef4 then you will with the 52lb a min gt3076r. Now if you wanted to make 600hp on a gt series turbo look into the gtx3076r. Much better design, more fins in the blades and will help spool a lot more then the standard turbo. Betweem the 2 turbo's, I would say go EF4.

Chris to clairify, yes I was talking e85 #'s but I do have logs where I was in the low 500 whp on pump gas at 30 lbs of boost. Tom didn't like the logs as they had a bit of knock that we could not get rid of so e85 was put in.
