Can my Evo ''untuned'' itself ?

Sorry if its a stupid question but Im a bit angry.

This summer I got my X tuned to gain power at WOT with my bolt-on and to save gas when cruising around ( because the stock gas consumption is alot )

So I got nice number when I was going to work ( around 8.8L to 9.5L per 100km at speed around 115km/h )

Even after that, I installed an AMS FMIC and was still pulling those numbers.

Sometime after that I installed a Synaspse DV, but my car was running to rich and the car wasnt happy ( overboosting alot ) with it because it wasnt tune for it. I drove 2-3 week with it before I pull it out because my tuner didnt have the time to tuned the car.

So the problem now that I have is that my car, with the same bolts on and tune of that summer, give me a 2L to 2.5L more gas consumption at the same speed ( so 10.8L to 12L per 100km at 115km/h of average )

So can my car has '' untuned'' itself because of the DV I install for 3 weeks ?

thanks

Im not a tuner so forgive me if i sound stupid but maybe its a change of climate that has your vehicle running different which leads it to have bad gas mileage as well.

Correct me if i am wrong anyone because i dont want to give out the wrong info.

Our cars do not like aftermarket BOVs, (recirc or VTA) so unless you NEED ONE ( leaking boost... around 27psi) don't do it.

And yes, you probably pissed the car off by giving it a BOV it did not like, and to spite you, it untuned itself... They are very temperamental you know...

I think its possible.
I had to have mine retuned because the ECU all of the sudden dropped my boost from 27 to 22 and didnt go back.

.
I wanted to get a more stable boost with the 3ports, and go with a second tune at the same time.

I just wanted to put the DV a bit before just to see, put since the car overboosted, I took it aside waiting for my second tune to be done.

You probably got the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Edition where it has a mind of it's own.

Your car didnt untune itself, it just "learned" new parameters. Pull the battery cable and let it sit 30min. But everything back the way it was when it was working fine. Hook the cable up and let it go. It will relearn the new parameters and your good to go and it should be back to normal.
