Please help with any information you may know.
First timer to any forum, Just got my evo March 2011 . I recently changed my Clutch from stock to ACT HDSS. 2008 EVO X GSR , has 53xxx miles on it. Regular oil change, redline tranmission fluid, filter change etc.
ALL STOCK EVO X.
My issue is when I shift up or down on low rpm, I hear a ringing/coin jingling noise under me. I feel that the evo is picking up slow before and after the clutch job, as if it is only running front wheel drive and it may only be. I launched it when tires were wet and only the front wheels spun out!
What do you think it may be that is the problem? What do you think is the costs? Should I let dealer do it, ptuning in VA, or private shop?
(Evo is parked with cover, sitting pretty and clean, but hurt)
Please assist!....
And
I was reading the 2008 EVO X MANUAL. I feel and now believe it has to do with Propeller Shaft .
To be serious, Is this a serious problem? If its not running AWD! Of coarse it is!
Any info my fellow enthusiast has, I'd Love to hear. Please...

And your having no warning lights popping up on your gauge?
Edit: Dont launch it until you get it fixed. Not meaning to insult intelligence but just saying.

The coin sounding noise could just be your ACT chattering, which isnt a big deal. But your running fwd only, thats a problem man. I wouldnt know where to start with diagnosing but you will probably definitely have to take it to a shop to fix. I was going to say diff maybe but no warning lights so IDK man. I am going to sit in the back and color now, but will definitely check up on this. It has me intrigued.

Lol That would be an awsome world, where if you have a problem; Just eff it up even more, itll fix itself!
Definitely not chattering from clutch. ACT HDSS is just like the stock clutch, just has stronger hold.
Dealer will see us soon, then Evo X is hibernating for a nice day, or spring time.
