There is a few on this forum I have seen and on other local forums. Its a turd being its to"laggy" for there likeing so therefor its no good. I laugh being I'm sure you agree that its really not that bad.

Like I said above the transient response is awesome. It seems way more responsive than the FP Black I drove a while back, maybe murlo would have more input as he had one on his X.

I'm very happy with it.

Pretty tough for me to say honestly. My new setup is totally different and not fully dialed in. I did like my black a lot and so far I like this a lot.

I added a long runner manifold to this setup so that added some lag but I have a 2.2 now too. So who knows. I liked both so far.

I don't believe it is. It's a stg 1.5 motor which means the heavy duty internals minus the sleeves.

That is correct. Stock block bored .020 over, standard JE pistons, MAP Ultimate Duty rods.

I think people claim it being "laggy" because it's not like the stock. But then again these could very well be people that just started playing in the modded car scene. I know that I am in no way a guru and ask dumb questions, which I have done to Murlo numerous times. But these are also people that probably have never ridden in a big turbo over a stock frame. My HTA3586 is laggy and would never say anything stock frame is as bad.

Ya this is certainly not a stock turbo or ef2/green/BBX Lite, but it is amazingly drivable around town, in traffic, and cruising on the freeway. Pretty much any (realistic) speed in any gear you can stomp the gas and get going, drop a gear if you wanna really scoot, and since my motor is built I've even dropped two gears from time to time (5th to 3rd) so I can nail it at 6500 rpm or so and rev to 8500 for max smile factor

Truf! Funny you should mention pump gas....

Decided to run a tank of pump gas through this thing. Same tune from shane when the car was on pump gas last year. Timing was just flat with the new turbo from like 5500+ so I added a little bit up there but nothing crazy. It runs good an no knock, just straight MBC, no WGDC at all it is zero'd out across the board. I'm sure it has a ton more in it with a few more psi up top but this is just my 'get me by on pump gas' tune-- nice and safe.

Tons-o-fun!

NO you are not, that is the chart I posted before, initial results on e85.

470whp virtual dynojet on pump gas.
649whp virtual dynojet on e70.

Again, basically zero tuning yet, these are just initial numbers.
