Supporting an increased Rev Limiter 8500-9000
Apart from the obvious valvetrain modifications. What does the 4b11t need to be able to support revs of around 8500-9000. Does it need modification to the oiling system to keep everything lubricated up top?

And aside from upgraded rods too right?
I have a built 2.0 (MAP) kelford cams and supertech valves & dual valvesprings and the car revs to 8500 just fine, 9000 probably fine too. If 9000 is indeed your limit, I'd recommend just a basic set of beehive valvesprings. Little less noisy than duals and will do just fine to that rpm limit.
One item of note, not sure if its ever discussed...there is a small plastic oil filter/screen that is cone shaped, it sits depressed in the block but is either the oil feed or return from the head....I put mine back in place when I had the motor apart but I considered leaving it off. 18,500 miles and lots of revs, no issues thus far (knock on wood).
