My X GSR has started popping out of 2nd gear on downshifts. It only does it when I don't match the revs. Is this the beginning of the end? It's got 29k miles, original fluid. I've been meaning to do the redline cocktail but haven't gotten around to it since no one sells it locally.

 

Put new fluid in ASAP and keep your fingers crossed.

Are you talking about the link Kracka put up to MAP? It shouldn't cost more then 20... If this is what you mean, pm one of the guys here on the forum and they will give you a good price. MAP shipping is extremely quick as well

I changed out my OEM fluid not too long ago. It was disgusting and had tons of metal shavings

Put in the RedLine cocktail mix and couldn't be happier! Good luck and make sure you let us know if this fixes your problem.

 

I changed out my OEM fluid at 1200 miles, I hated that crap.

 

I just changed my fluid with the cocktail a couple weeks ago and i dont notice any difference. I already have shifter/underhood/base bushings and SS though.

The fluid was pretty crappy looking.
