Hyundai Pullies

Greetings All
I dont mean to beat an old issue to death but I am wondering if anyone has anymore experience with the Hyundai pulley solution for the OEM Mitsu pulley swap (Part #25287 2C000)?

Or possibly there is an aftermarket solution?

I prefer to not have to modify the one pulley with the spacer and bolt reverse thread issue.

And while performing this swap, I was thinking of replacing other pulleys while Im at it so any recommendations are appreciated (is under drive etc).

Thanks, in advance-

So I followed what they did here:
http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67410
My tensioner pulley was bad, but I'm glad I replaced all 3 of them. It took me 1hr 15mins to complete the job and reused the OEM belt since I just replaced the belt about 3 weeks ago. The new pulleys are real nice! I got the copper washer from lowes and the pulleys from http://www.dealerdirectparts.com/201...cpe-2.0t-2.htm which is the cheapest I could find.

Now the OEM pulley do have a back shield, you don't need them with the new pulleys. This is currently the only solution.

Just replace the idlers. There hasn't been any issues from just leaving the tensioner.

Unfortunately mine was the tensioner that was bad but if u follow the instructions it's not that hard and u don't have to worry about breakin anything. Just take ur time and do it right.

Would the pullies be covered under the bumper-to-bumper 3/36 or powertrain 5/60? If I had to guess, it would be considered powertrain. Has anyone tried?

I'm not sure but they would be replace it with plastic ones! I say get all Hyundai pullies for a piece of mind. The tensioner was not hard to do at all.

I had a buddy do it, but it's a gamble. If they don't cover it they charge you $90+ for their "diagnostic fee."
