Ef3 or ef4

So I've noticed that the fp red and fp black prices have gone up, so I've decided to go with one of maps turbos. My goals are to be around 525 to 550 awhp, and torque I want to have around 450 to 480. My question is idk which turbo to go with if I can make my goals with the ef3 than I'll go that route, I think that the ef4 might have too much lag for me. Those that have experience with these turbos can I have some advice?

The EF3 is capable of your goals, provided you have all the other supporting and bolt-on mods needed to max it out.

It would be maxing it out to try to push 550 on a ef3, how is the lag on the ef4?
