Exhaust volume help
Hello forum,
I have a 2012 GSR with an ETS quiet catback. I am preparing to get a tune and figure if I am I going to upgrade the exhaust anymore now is the time. I dont want to add much more volume to my exhaust. Do you suggest a downpipe with the stock cat, a HFC only, or something else. I imagine anything else I do will bring some noise, just trying not to **** my neighbors off anymore than I already do.
Thank you for your feedback.

You would see gains with a hfc, but the most with a test pipe, if you're trying to keep it quiet the resonated test pipes are an option. It will increase the volume. But it will help keep things in check at low rpm/low load.

I'm using the UR mini-muffler test pipe and it works great. If you don't plan on upgrading to a t3 turbo system, get the down pipe also, I am using ETS's and its fantastic, the waste gate pipe is not the open type.

I've got the recirc variety of ETS DP combined with the HFC and V2 Quiet. Can't say enough about it. It's conservative at lower RPM but still has a nice growl and definitely has ***** at WOT. I would suggest my combo to anyone looking for similar results.
