What's going on gentleman! I do my best not to make repeat threads but I can't seem to find this answer.

I'm going to be joining you all here soon, coming from the STI world and excited to make the change. My question is, I have heard some simply wicked sounds X's, and I want to know which exhaust is the deepest and most throaty. I love it loud, so that doesn't scare me at all. My STI has a full N1 race with no cats or mufflers at all, and I love it.

Think changing out the tips on the ETS Extreme would change the sound a lot?

ETS V2 extreme, ETS test pipe, and ETS 02 Dump. You will have ALOT of fun trust me and no video on youtube will actually do the product justice.

This is most likely the kit I'm going with, although I've heard good things about the MAPerformance VTA downpipe so I may use that in combination with the rest of the ETS exhaust.

I'm just waiting on a good condition EvoX to run through auction so I can steal it for way under book.

i have the v2 extreme and testpipe and i love the sound. so aggressive. Just purchased the Map o2 dump as well(mainly because the ets o2 dump went up 200$ in the last few months). Cant wait to hear what it will all sound like. If i get a good video of it after i install ill post it up on youtube.

but as others have stated, the videos dont do it any justice.

FYI: the larger the diameter piping, the deeper the tone. I updated from a 3" to a 3.5" exhaust and the sound is night and day. The number of resonators will deepen the tone as well.
