Injen Intake/UICP Questions

Thinking of picking up the Injen intake/UICP combo. I have a stock 08 GSR. Will my car run fine with these bolt ons? I was thinking of getting it tuned after installing this, but I figured I could buy all my mods and then tune it so I won't be in need of a retune.

How does this deal with Cali smog issues? I know the intake has the CARB legal sticker but does modifying the UICP have any issues with smog?

The injen MAF housing is larger than oem so that might cause some problems. I ran my K&N intake and UICP without a tune because it used the stock MAF housing, I believe the Cobb intake does as well. I wouldn't install it without a tune.
