e85 to winter blend question

So what's the deal with switching from e85 to e70? Some people have told me it will just make the car run richer. It makes sense that the car would be more susceptible to knock since it will be lower octane but being it runs richer seems it would make it not a susceptible to knock. So what is true?

Chances are it will just run richer and make less power. You don't want to be tuned for E70 and run E85 though. Ideally, you really would have a tune for both.

I know. I'm tuned on e85 without a tune for e70. I'm just curious to see what will happen other than making my car run richer with less power. What do you do when it's around 80-75%?
