I just purchased a '13 gsr used. I am the second owner. After a week of ownership, I got a SES/CEL. Took it to the dealer and they said it was a p0219. They came to believe that the previous owner might've had it tuned. As far as I know, car is stock other than a GFB bov. I did some research on p0219 and got me concerned quite a bit. I've never reached the redline since I took ownership. The tech at the dealer said my car idled funny. The tachometer needle jumps back and forth a little during idle (under 1000rpm). I saw a few youtube videos and noticed that many evo x has this behavior during idle. Can anyone verify?

sounds kinda loud maybe an exhaust leak?

 

Maybe the previous owner hit the wrong gear and went way passed redline. It's normal for this engine to "tick" but if there's excessive noise the dealer should inspect the engine more thoroughly.
