Need Advice on Build
So I need some advice, I'm starting to build my motor and simply can't decide on what to do. I like ERL with their 2.3, I'm not sure about moore automotive (they're using a manley stroker kit) and i also like the idea of boost therapy's 2.2 but the components of the internals of each is different and i have no experience in knowing which components are more reliable than the other. Basically, I'm looking to make a lot of power reliably (as reliable as possible comparatively) and need help deciding. plans for the car are not drag racing, not tracking, maybe autocross here and there, but mainly i see it as a project. I will be doing an efr 8374 with a built head from english racing and dual mapping on e85 and pump. Most likely getting the turbo kit from either moore automotive or full race. Anyway, I will post the individual parts of each stroker kit below, let me know what you think. Thank you in advance
ERL 2.3
Sleeved
ARP MAIN STUD KIT
MANLEY BILLET CRANK 94MM
MANLEY PRO I BEAM RODS
JE CUSTOM PISTON SET, UPGRADED PINS, ASYMMETRICAL DESIGN, 88MM COATED SKIRTS
9.5:1 CR
ACL RACE MAIN & ROD BEARINGS, COATED
COSWORTH THRUST BEARINGS
Moore Automotive (manley 2.2 stroker kit) - easy to search
Boost Therapy 2.2
Darton MID Sleeves
Manley Platinum Series Pistons
Manley upgraded Wrist Pins
Manley Turbo Tuff Rods
ARP Custom Age 625 Rod Bolts
Arp Main Studs
Acl Race Bearings
manley 2.2 crank
86.5 mm bore
I'm open to others as well, as long as they're proven to be somewhat reliable for what they are.
