Turbos and tubular mani blanket thoughts?
Looking for tips and tricks for heat shielding an MHI 18k and ETS tubular manifold on my 14 GSR. They're both going to be coated but I can't imagine that'll do enough to keep the temps down.
Any thoughts on shields and blankets? Leaning towards something like BoostResources's turbo and manifold blankets.
Boost Resource's manifold blanket: (http://www.boostresource.com/product...hi-evo-x-2008/
Boost Resource's MHI blanket: ( http://www.boostresource.com/product...hi-evo-x-2008/ )
Thanks in advance for replies.

Update:
Got some feedback on other sites about this that helped me pull the trigger.
Ordered Boost Resource's V2 manifold blanket and MHI turbo blanket. Timing was good too as they have a 15% discount code on heat protection until the 13th (code:feb15off)
Sounds like for sure under hood temps will drop dramatically. All I'm really hoping for is to keep from melting/burning other parts. It'll be interesting to see if the blankets live up to the idea of faster/earlier spool through manifold and hot side heat retention.
I'm waiting on my MHI from FP so it might be a while before I can get it all together and on English's dyno. Will post up results when everything's together.

It is really up to you and what really you uses your car for. I have used jet hot coating couple times on previous cars and it worked great for street uses. Im just not fan of using wrap or heat shield, but ive been seen it helped reduce temp.
