ID1300 problems

I've got a new setup that hasnt been able to run right. Full boltons, MAP Precision 5858 turbo kit, Walbro 400, ID1300s, 93 octane. Tuner has tried a dozen maps to get it to idle properly but can't work it out, (afrs all over the place, jumpy rpms, audible misfires but not enough to throw a code.) He's tuned these injectors on similar setups in the past but it still won't run right. Finally had him send me a map for my setup but stock injectors, swapped the stockers in and it ran perfect first try. Does this sound like a tuning issue or injector issue? And if it's the injectors, does it seem like they're clogged or defective? They're brand new and I've only had them in the car a very short time. Trying to get some opinions before sending them to ID and paying for shipping and testing.

Sounds like an injector issue. I would send them in to ID and see if you got a bad one. It's not impossible. ID can quality control all the want, doesn't mean the $10/hr idiot at a distributor warehouse didn't drop them...

That's what I'm planning on doing at this point, any chance it could be an issue with the plug and play harnesses that they came with? They're sending power to the injectors but maybe not enough to some?

Only issue would be if a pin was loose in one of the connectors, and it was having contact issues.

I'll probably double check that before sending them in. What, just look for loose wires or damage to the harness?

Look for damage to the wires. Look in to the open side of the connector, you should be able to see the metal pin in the plastic connector, wiggle the wires, make sure the pins don't move around a bunch.
