MAP Clutch Master Cylinder Issues.

I can not get this system to bleed for the life of me. I have bleed hundreds of clutches. I have tried all methods but a power bleeder. I can get it about half way Bleed. With the aluminum boot screwed all the way down it doesn't engage all the way about 1 inch from the Clutch pedal switch still with what i can get bleed. Im super ****ing frustrated. Is there some magical way you need to bleed the clutch system on the evo x? Install was a total pain in the ****ing *** too. Getting those 2 bolts off total pain and getting the ****ing nut on the new one also a pain.

And no there isnt any leaks. Seems to bleed almost, i get pressure after bleeding the old style way for about 30 mins. If i use a hand bleeder it always pulls air but I suspect the bleeder doesnt seal perfect on the slave

Did you opt for the OEM CMC or did you go with the aftermarket?

yes aftermarket as I did not know the OEM meant a evo 9 one. I thought it was another ****ty plastic one. Is the aftermarket one not going to work? Why even sell it if it doesnt work ...gonna go try to bleed again in a hour but if its not gonna work

I only ask because I've seen many posts about people having issues when they opt for the aftermarket one. I mean it should work, but you know aftermarket quality sometimes isn't the best. I used a Motive speed bleeder and then finished it off with a traditional pump and dump method and don't have any issues. I wonder what the problem is?

The clutch fork poped off as well when the slave blew out when the master blew. Very VERY VERY VERY ****ing annoyed with the evo X. Now i have to pull the trans and put the TOB and clip in proper place. Gonna purchase the MAP overextender blocker thing

Just get the ACT monoloc. No need for the over extender deal with the monoloc.

https://www.maperformance.com/produc...FYJpfgodNUsB0g this? I do like that much better, instead of adjusting that blocker all the time

That monoloc seems to do the trick... much harder to get to fail/pop off!

Yeah that. No clip to pop out, so it pretty much can't fail unless it breaks. But it's spring steel, so that won't happen.
