I fell in love with the motor all my friends call bullet proof and the boxy sedan that could whip a 2 door SS camaro. I bought a IX because I felt this is the last year my dream car will be made. I couldnt pass it up. Do you all think the X has the power to become so many peoples dream car like all the other evo's? Do you think the X is truly a "Lancer Evolution"? Just curious.

I love the people that make these stupid *** posts because they bought the IX before they knew the X was coming out, and now are all pissed and torn up inside because Mitsu is making a faster, nicer, version.
Who cares what the layout is? Trust me you can still fit a really big turbo back there...and if you need an even bigger one, then get a twister manifold like K20 peeps have been doing for about 3 years now.
Aluminum block you say? Again. Who gives a ****. Thats what Mitsu engineers wanted to do, and thats what they are going to do. They are all smarter than any of you, and since most of you would flunk a basic algebra exam right now....Ill have enough faith in the guy engineering the block to make power.
Okay so it has paddle shifters. Not the funnest thing in the world, but for those of you that dont buy it, when you get *** spanked by a X with paddle shifters in the twisties...well remember we told you so.

I think engineers have more experience in what works and what not, besides they created the 4g63 in the first place i am sure they know what they are doing.
Alot of you folks talk like you know all this **** about the X's design, 4g63 is old technology sit back and watch what the 4b11t can do and i bet you it won't be disappointing.
They do this **** as their career and you guys dont so think about it... you think they will lay their job down the line and build something weak and sorry to blow off all their business and customers?
Trust them for a sec and quit the hate because its obvious you guys are threatened by the new version, you bought a 9 it is a nice car, but so is what will become of the X
Damn i hear the same crap over and over about the X..
Blah blah balh to heavy, blah blah blah no 4g63, blah blah blah stick shift.
Jump the hate bandwagon some more because the reality is the X will be the better performer, hate to break it to you folks with the 9s.

Damn there's a lot of hate floating around here.
There's always going to be that sense of regret for running out and making what is perceived to be a hasty decision. I am referring of course to all of the Evo owners out there second guessing their purchase while the X loomed on the horizon. The same was true for many of the VII and VIII owners who pined for the XI. The truth of the matter is that this envy will always be around every time a new member of the Evo family is released. It's a vicious cycle; get used to it. You've got to bite the bullet and make the best of your decision. 4g63 or not, an Evo will always kick ***.
I would pissed if Mitsubishi didn't continuously strive improve the lineage. Evolution is what makes our cars legendary.

Haha it was funny how when the 9's came out and everyone was jumping on the hate bandwagon and saying the Evo 8 was the "last true 4G63" and the Mivec was gay and that it would not be mod friendly. Guess what!!! Now everyone wants a 9, including all those people hating on them and guess what? After the 10 comes out, everyone is going to want that one too. Stop this useless crap. All cars have to change and if they never did we would be rolling on some airplane size cars from back in the days

I think the 10 is a true evolution in a way... People don't like it now.. but When people start driving them. they will definitely start liking them.. just like the past evos.
